As suppliers of one of the UK’s fastest growing brands, this business has got consumers and customers alike purring about their new deliciously tasty, nutritional and healthy ranges.

Supplying premium and very much on-trend chilled offerings to their consumer audience, their brand has quickly become one that many new products to market aspire to.

Privately owned, they offer a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment that similar personalities will thrive in and find hugely rewarding.

The business has enjoyed a rapid period of growth, gaining national listings in Waitrose, JS and Tesco alongside strong performance in discounter and convenience channels over the last year alone, with a healthy outlook for the future. 

As a result of its success and in recognising strong future forecast, the business is looking to identify commercial leadership by recruiting a Head of Sales.

The position of Head of Sales will be a newly created role and be responsible for driving all sales strategy and customer performance, and report directly in to the Managing Director.

With full financial accountability for sales and margin, you will work alongside a Marketing Director and Finance Director and be considered as a non-board, senior management member and leader of the business.

Suitable candidates will demonstrate strong performance whilst operating within brand manufacturing environments, and have a proven record of delivery within grocery retail customer channels.

Whilst currently operating within retail grocery customer arenas, knowledge of convenience / wholesale / discounter channels will further aid your application.

As a business expecting strong growth over the next five years, it is vital they secure the ‘right fit’ to operate alongside a relatively streamline, close-knit management team.

As a result it is very important that applicants are able to demonstrate high energy levels and a genuine passion for the category they operate with and the brands they supply.

You will be expected to lead and inspire your sales team to deliver excellence in front of customers as well as internally at all times.  Previous experience of managing teams is advantageous, whilst not essential.  Being an entrepreneurial business, they are eager to consider strong candidates ready to make the ‘step-up’ to management levels.

Experience of privately owned business environments would also be advantageous, but again is not essential.
