Our client is shaking up the snack market with their premium products and now they are looking for a new superstar to join the team!

They are winners - with multiple taste awards to their credit - and they want you to take that giant leap in responsibility and be a part of a fast growing but small business where the role and opportunity is as big as you want it to be. Indeed with their rapid growth, if you prove yourself there is the opportunity to build your own team within 12 months. You will be based at their North West London office and often attending meetings in London and across the country (sometimes in Europe too). You will report directly into one of the business' Co-Founders. 

What You Will Do: 

Your role will be divided into three main areas:

Account Management

  • Maintain relationships with existing customers and develop new opportunities
  • Develop full understanding of each account in order to fully maximise sales volume
  • Network through existing contacts to leverage off existing accounts into new sites/environments
  • Analyse sales reports from distributors to assess sales and push to maintain consistent sales volumes within client base
  • Deliver the best customer service
  • Undertake supporting administrative tasks as required


New Business Development

  • Identify target growth opportunities and land new points of distribution.
  • Be very confident with numbers to ensure required margins are delivered


Projects
A real variety of projects will require a quick-learner who has a desire to learn about our whole business. There will only be 1 or 2 projects required at any point in time, some examples are below:

  • Export Market Development - Identify key export markets and work with local distributors to grow sales through effective  local marketing and PR
  • New Marketing Materials - Identify new marketing materials that would deliver best pay back; Work with Marketing team to design these and implement across your accounts

The key skills to have:

  • Education & Work Experience - Educated to degree level with minimum 1 year (ideally relevant) work experience
  • Self-starter - We'll train you up so that know everything there is to know but we expect you to get on and manage your own time. You will work hard and want to grasp every opportunity out there. You’ll have demonstrated some entrepreneurial spark - started something, made something, organised something and shown real persistence and drive.
  • Confident personality - You need to be comfortable speaking to everyone and selling to them too and working as part of a small team

Organisational skills

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills who doesn't mind multi-tasking and re-prioritising (sometimes daily!). Impeccable spelling and grammar is a given

Structured, numerate and analytical - Your creativity is guided by a reflex to break problems down into smaller parts, and an instinct to use numbers to help guide your decisions.
