The job:

We're EE. And our vision is to show the UK how technology can make the everyday better. We're doing that by creating a seamless experience for each and every one of our customers - through our stores, in our centres and online. But we can only achieve our vision by having great people working for us. People who are empowered, supported, challenged - and rewarded. That's why the Sunday Times named us one of the Best Big Companies to Work For. But why take their word for it? Come and see for yourself.

A true relationship builder, you'll lead a team of Store Managers - driving sales, service and performance through an effective retail plan. Your energy, enthusiasm and retail experience will help to inspire and encourage commercial success across the region. And by creating a culture of high performance, you'll keep an eye on absence, attrition and engagement levels, all while providing essential coaching, in a working environment where you drive your own results. Plus, you'll come up with fresh new ways of getting the best out of your teams.

What you'll do:

  • Manage, motivate, inspire and develop a team of Store Managers
  • Deliver across a balanced scorecard of targets within the region
  • Keep an eye on all people KPIs including performance, absence, attrition and engagement
  • Create a culture of high performance, first class service and a passion for delivery across all stores
  • Drive operational compliance, efficiency and security by making sure all stores adhere to policy, process and procedure
  • Lead the frontline launch of the latest offerings, products and services to market

You'll definitely:

  • Be an experienced leader of managers with a proven track record of delivering results in a field based environment
  • Be passionate about driving a culture of sales through brilliant customer service
  • Be a first rate coach who knows how to get top-level performance out of people
  • Have no problem translating business strategy into local retail plans
  • Draw on first rate communication skills to confidently influence and engage at all levels
  • Have the enthusiasm to take our retail channel to another level.

What's in it for you?

  • Competitive salary
  • Monthly commission scheme - OTE 20% of salary (based on regional performance across KPI's)
  • Company car, phone, home office set up
  • Pension
  • Private healthcare for you and your partner or children
  • Employee options for mobile, broadband and EETV, Friends and family discount
  • 25 days' holiday (pro-rata)
  • Flexible benefit bundles pot for childcare vouchers, travel insurance, critical illness etc.
