PLENISH is looking for an experienced candidate to identify and exploit new opportunities within this fast growing sector of the market.
PLENISH is looking for a super (like really SUPER) duper motivated person to utilize their existing contacts, charming personality, creativity, wits and good old fashioned persistence and drive to identify new accounts, develop relationships with key store managers, buyers and distributors while providing education, marketing support and pro-active merchandising to support each account.
This is a great opportunity to be a big part of a healthy, high-profile business growing at a ferocious speed. Commercial experience and managing P & L experience is a must as you will manage the strategy across our retail accounts and contribute to our award-winning online, direct to consumer store.
The business has plans to expand the commercial department, and you will be at the forefront of developing the team over the course of 18 months, so is open to those striving to be at that level or already at this level looking to paint a fresh canvas with a new challenge.
Some Essentials
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role managing national accounts and wholesalers (chilled experience a bonus).
- Experience in creating route to markets for NPD.
- Have ‘hustle’ in your blood – wanting to achieve stellar results in record time.
- Work with minimum supervision; must be responsible and able to timely initiate appropriate work activities.
- Experience in FMCG, is a MUST
Sales Growth
- Identify target growth opportunities to find & land new points of distribution.
- Identify and set up strategic partnerships with chilled wholesalers to service a national market.
Account Management
- Establish relationships with buyers and store managers via with regular conversations, which also include reviews of sales data and other supporting data.
- Create and collaborate on joint business plans with accounts to continue to grow the business
- Deliver the most stellar customer service
P & L
- Manage the P & L across all accounts, stretching net revenue and profit targets for your customers.
- Be super confident with your numbers, calculating margins should be second nature.
Marketing
- Work with MD and marketing team to make sure marketing message is channel appropriate for your accounts.
- Assure that products are given maximum exposure and ideal placement.
- Oversee Brand Education team to set up in-store demos as needed.
Management
- You will be growing the commercial team, so some management experience preferred.
Salary up to £45k (depending on experience) plus performance based bonus.
