This leading food retailer wishes to appoint a Floor Planning Manager into the senior space range and display team.
Leading and managing a team of 9, you will be responsible for the delivery of all main chain and franchise floor plans on a seasonal basis aligned to the Food Strategy. Being the central point of contact for all Food Space related activities within the Food Group, you will manage and maintain display group level floor plans for every new store, refit and extension.

The main accountabilities of a Floor Planning Manager include:

-Support the development of format blueprints, aligned to the space rules, for all store formats, advising on logical display group adjacencies and flows to support ease of shop for the customer and efficient operations in store
-Create display group level floor plans for all new stores, extensions and refits to align as closely as possible to the space rules or store specific space recommendations provided by the Space Insight team
-Lead the Floor Planning team to update floor plans for all trading stores for all changes to space e.g. range changes, seasonal and promotional changes

In this creative role, you will be experienced in JDA floor planning systems, hold good IT skills and have a rudimentary understanding of CAD. Analytical and able to visualise store plans from a 2D plan, you will understand the difference between macro and micro space. With your strong communication skills, you will influence and manage key stakeholders to help deliver the space projects across the stores.
