A brilliant opportunity has arisen within a leading manufacturer of beers and cider. With a number of instantly recognisable brands and products that already have a huge presence in the multiple grocers and On Trade alike they are looking to bring on board an experienced Senior National Account Manager to really drive and develop their Tesco account. This is a great chance for somebody to take hold of their lead account and make a real difference to an already established company.

As Senior National Account Manager for Tesco you will be managing one of the businesses most valuable accounts. You will have full P&L responsibility for this customer whilst managing and coaching 1 National Account Executive. As part of the senior management team you will be responsible for strategy planning, implementation of joint business plans as well as optimising sales and performance within the Tesco account. You will report directly to the Head of Grocery and be part of a fast paced Grocery Team consisting of a mix of Account Controllers, Account Managers and Executives. This role will require you to work closely with other sectors of the business including forecast meetings with the finance department.

In order to be considered for this opportunity you will need a wealth of experience working within the drinks industry. This will preferably be an alcoholic drinks background although exceptional candidates from other areas of the drinks industry will be considered. You will need to have experience managing a top four grocery customer and be comfortable managing and developing a direct report, although previous man management experience is not essential. To be successful you will need a strong, resilient personality, keen commercial awareness and strategic flair so as to be able to take on and influence one of the businesses most challenging accounts
