Highly experienced and networked Business Development Director to lead BWL’s established team in both Regional and National Sales expansion – London based.

The successful individual will have an impeccable reputation between peers and clients – and the valued ability to lead people to over achieve to help continue the marketing leading position Bibendum occupies.

  • Growing business across the Regional/National On Trade sales sector to high end restaurants, brasseries, hotels and general fine dining in London
  • Creating, agreeing and achieving both cost and sales budgets
  • Developing existing business in large shared accounts and lead the new business agenda at BWL
  • Get the best out or the team of individuals you are hierarchically responsible for
  • Attending generic tastings and organising International trips and tastings with prospects/customers
  • Maintaining communication with all developing customer databases
  • Leading best practice of keeping all Bibendum business development software up to date
  • Working very closely with internal sales people in the area to maximize opportunities
  • Interlinking between marketing/buying/logistics to make sure customer/prospect experience is market leading
  • Playing a role in developing and ensuring compliance to customers contractual obligations
  • Managing the teams business ledger, working closely with the credit control team
  • Leading by example professionally and socially
  • Training/Mentoring best practice
  • Developing sales of artisan wines and agency spirits and beers

Employee Profile :​

  • 8-10 years experience in the market
  • Well networked and respected amongst clients and peers
  • Successful track record, driven and a great communicator
  • You will have strong relationship building skills and be highly articulate and proactive
  • Fine wine/high value wine experience
  • Spirits knowledge/experience
