If you have a successful track record of sales development and growing market share with  Grocery Multiples (Tesco, Asda, JS Morrisons etc) and High Street Multiples (Boots, Superdrug, etc), this National Account Manager role covering the UK could be the ideal new career challenge.

Our client is a market leading chilled food & drink business. Due to continued growth a new opportunity has arisen for a professional, dynamic and highly successful National Account Manager to initiate and develop a commercial plan to grow their business in the UK.

Reporting to the Sales Director and working closely with the UK and European sales team, you will lead the process of monitoring, analysing and reporting on trends and developments in your markets to develop sales and market share in line with the commercial strategy.

You should have significant experience within the Grocery and High Street channels, gained within a recognised brand orientated FMCG business. Ideally degree educated, it is essential that you are able to demonstrate strong negotiation, organisational and commercial leadership skills and that you have:

  • In-depth knowledge of senior account management and supply chain management
  • Knowledge of financial management and people matrix management.

A highly results orientated individual with excellent communication and strong relationship building skills, you must be capable of identifying business opportunities and translate these into increased volume, profit and market share.

The culture of the organisation is truly progressive, offering real autonomy and genuine personal development. Working from home, you will need to have access to regular meetings in London South/East and Europe.
