BW Penman are working with a major B2B manufacturer, operating within the bakery and confectionery sectors, and are helping them to find a Marketing Director/Head of Marketing to manage their growing UK marketing team. This successful Global business is looking to bolster its UK business unit and expand the product offering and customer base within the UK Grocery markets. They are exceptionally well regarded in their market and have a well-recognised quality product offering that is truly unique. There is a real opportunity to stamp your mark on this growth and lead this exciting stage in the group’s development.
The Role
Reporting directly into the MD and sitting on the board as the Marketing Director/Head of Marketing across all divisions you will be responsible for creating and implementing the retail marketing strategy to drive growth one day, plotting out new product launches with the development team another; all alongside the day to day management of all internal communications to help internally align your creative vision.
The Person
As the implementer between commercial and creative, you work hard to keep everybody happy, ensuring the smooth running of marketing & brand plans day in day out. Familiar with budgets and pre-agreed targets, you’re no stranger to numbers. In fact, a budget isn’t a barrier, it’s a challenge, and one you have no trouble sticking to.
You can easily manage all stakeholders to achieve marketing excellence and will already have demonstrable experience of managing either brand and/or private label marketing plan.

Moving forwards, you will have opportunities to stamp your mark on this role and success in delivering growth will provide you with recognition at a European and Global level.
