Job Details

Our client are one of Britain’s most admired and respected Food Processors, a major food group and this division supplies products to key market sectors including manufacturers, foodservice/restaurant groups, high coffee retail and Food to Go. It’s all about food, understanding the market trends and being ahead of the culinary curve of innovation.

We are looking to uncover an individual who already has a demonstrable background in Senior Commercial Management as Sales Controller or Head of Sales within the Chilled Foods arena. This is a high-profile commercial role within a dynamic business, and is an excellent opportunity to influence the direction of commercial account strategy for some our most influential customer areas within the business. This role will suit an individual who has strong market knowledge and a thorough understanding of this niche area of the Food sector.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will drive the formulation of commercial strategy and customer plans to meet the sales needs of the business.  While being responsible for the delivery of business profit and volume objectives across this extremely demanding group of accounts. You will hold your customers in high regard and focus on building long term and profitable relationship at a senior level.

As a key member of the senior management team, and working closely with your customers within the Food Manufacturing and Food to Go sectors, you will be responsible for the delivery of new and innovative products that match current consumer trends, alongside managing and developing key relationships, at all levels, with the aim of building a long-term, growing and profitable accounts.

As highlighted above we are looking to attract an individual who already has a proven and acknowledged personal brand within the Chilled Foods sector; this role is only attainable for the commercially competent and best in class.
