MARKETING DIRECTOR
National role
The Marketing Director holds ultimate responsibility for the organisation’s marketing activities for all the company’s drinks brands and over sees the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the business that includes the spend on behalf of factored brands.
Duties include:
- Development and implementation of the brand strategy for each brand
- Ensuring that the strategy contributes positively to the overall company branding
- Developing the marketing strategy for new and existing products, with particular focus on the craft beer initiative
- Overseeing implementation of the marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR
- Working closely with the company’s sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentation across all sales channels
- Guiding the day to day activities of the marketing team, ensuring the best quality individuals are recruited
- Ensuring that the marketing objectives relate to commercial targets
- Work closely with the production and operations team to ensure planning and sourcing are on target
- Take ownership of social media initiatives and direct programs to ensure consistent social media reputation and recognition
- Ensuring ATL and BTL spend is appropriate, relevant and efficient
- Developing and delivering marketing and communications strategies for the organisation
- Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
Requirements of the role:
- Graduate level
- Professional chartered marketer (CIM) or equivalent
- Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles
- Confident, driven and dynamic leader
- Effective influencer amongst peer group
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities
Salary: £120-140K dependent on experience
