My client is a globally recognised champagne brand with a presence in most international markets. Within the UK they dominate their sector, being one of the leading brands across both volumes sold and value in the market. Their products are present in all major supermarkets and wine wholesalers including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and Majestic. Over the past 12months they have grown two of their lines significantly, perhaps through their high profile sponsorship platforms with global events. With a turnover in excess of £25million and growing they are a highly attractive business and now is a great time to join their team.

Due to the growth they have seen and predict, they are now seeking a National Account Manager to join their business. Reporting directly into the Sales Director you will manage a number of tier 2 grocery accounts including Waitrose, Marks and Spencer’s and Majestic. You will have full profit and loss accountability and be responsible for the joint business plans within your portfolio. Although this role sits within the sales team, you will work cross functionally with marketing and other departments within the business to ensure the products are well received by both the retailers and the consumers.

In order to be considered for this opportunity it is essential that you have experience working within the wine, champagne or spirits sector. A thorough understanding of the accounts to be managed is also needed. This is a thriving business which offers its employees autonomy and the flexibility to make quick decisions.
