Job Details

An exciting opportunity has opened for an interim Category Manager to join a sucessful FMCG business with market leading brands. This role would suit a current Category Manager who can cover a maternity leave. 

The successful candidate will aim to gain a competitive advantage and improve market share helping to guide and execute a clear category strategy using customer and consumer insights to support key business opportunities. You will be wholly responsible for providing actionable insights to influence business decision making within your categories. Working with external agencies, internal experts and the global Consumer & Market Insights team, you will be expected to proactively support and drive better ways of working within your categories, using a collaborative approach to challenge current process and thinking.

Candidates should have a proven track record in the application of insights in the FMCG industry, strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills, experience working with Neilson/Kantar/IRI Agency data. This opportunity will allow individuals a fantastic opportunity to gain experience and responsibility in heading up Insights and implenting plans and ideas back to Senior members of the Category team. Alternatively you will be from an agency managing retail or FMCG Accounts.
