A leading blue chip FMCG company is recruiting for two National Account Managers to work on major grocery accounts (Morrisons / Asda). With a track record of internal progression now is great time to be joining the team.

Role:

You are required to lead, manage and develop the account for the business. You will be responsible for achievement of volume, profit and net revenue for a specific account portfolio. You will be reporting directly to the National Account Controller on your account.

Requirements:

You will be proven Account Manager at a National level having held full P&L and budget responsibility in a branded or own-label environment ideally in line with a top four multiple. You will be highly analytical with strong personal influencing skills as you will be required to influence at all levels internally & externally.

A resilient National Account Manager with real passion, drive and enthusiasm is required to move into this role. A real high flier searching for new challenges would be an ideal candidate to work in such a fast paced environment.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Retail account management track record
  • Managed a significant P&L
  • Superb relationship building skills
  • Strongly analytical
  • Exceptional influencing skills
  • Strong negotiation skills at Head Office
  • Some understanding of category management and ability to apply this
  • A positive and ’can do’ attitude
