Customer Development Executive – Spirits / Drinks, On Trade Accounts

As one of the worlds leading producers of a branded spirits label, our client prides themselves on supplying the best in the business! My Client supplies to a significant number of major multiple retailers, wholesalers, On and Off Trade across the UK and internationally. The brand has a fantastic heritage with a portfolio of numerous brands and labels. The Role
As the successful Customer Development Executive you will be responsible for On Trade accounts within your defined territory. You will journey plan and set a strategy to develop your top 10 accounts. You will report to the Field Sales manager who will be there to support and coach you. The successful candidate will develop and influence key business relationships between you and your customers to ensure mutual growth and long term partnerships. Initially you will be given around 100 accounts to develop but with the requirement to also win your own new business. You will understand the On Trade sector and ideally have a drinks, if not then FMCG, background. You will use your business relationships to drive growth and up sell into your accounts.

The successful Customer Development Manager will:

  • Currently hold the position of National Account Executive, Business Account Executive, Customer Development Executive, Sales Rep or equivalent.
  • Have experience of  Sales in a branded FMCG business
  • An ability to communicate effectively and build and maintain strong business relationships
  • Have experience within the drinks sector
  • Experience of working with spirits On Trade a benefit
  • Be passionate, innovative, self motivated and driven
  • Ideally be degree educated or equivalent

In return you will receive a salary of £24,000 + 25% bonus + car (Audi A3) + pension + healthcare.

This is a field based role in across the North and Scotland / Midlands / South & Home Counties (excluding London)
