My client is a global leader in the cosmetics and fragrance sector, with over 100years of trading experience. They have a wide portfolio of brands covering cosmetics and fragrance, currently standing at over fifty. They constantly push boundaries and are well regarded for their innovative products, with brands appealing to every segment of the market place. Their UK business alone turns over in excess of £280million, and the business has grown by over £30million in the past 3years alone. Due to this rapid growth they are now seeking a passionate, creative Senior National Account Manager to join their thriving business.

As Senior National Account Manager you will report directly into the Customer Director and will be responsible for the companies leading account, Boots. This customer alone has sales of £100million, so you will work closely with the Buyer to ensure that these sales are maintained and sell through is high. This will be achieved through creating joint business plans and working collaboratively with the various departments not only within your own business but also within Boots. Alongside your day to day account management, you will manage a National Account Executive, who will assist you in your day to day management of the Boots account. You will coach and guide them in order to help them further their career within the business. As with any role at this level, you will have full profit and loss accountability.

As a result, it is ideal that you have experience working with either Boots or another leading high street retailer, although prior experience working with the top 4 grocers will be considered. Experience working within either the cosmetics, fragrance or personal care sector is preferred, however FMCG products will be contemplated.  Excellent negotiation skills are required, as well as the ability to work under pressure and to tight guidelines.
