An exciting new opportunity has arisen within a globally recognised, market leading company that operate within the spirits industry. They boast an impressive portfolio of instantly identifiable, multi-award winning brands. With an already huge presence in both the On and Off trade their brands are stocked in the major multiples and major pub groups as well as high end, prestigious bars and clubs. They are now looking for an experienced National Account Controller to develop and manage one of their major On Trade accounts as well as a small team.

As National Account Controller you will hold full P&L over one of their largest On Trade customers. You will be expected to manage and grow this account creating the sales strategy, working on joint business plans and maximising brand activation. The team you manage will consist of 3 National Account Managers looking after the smaller national pub groups and regional outlets. It will be your job to lead and develop this team in line with the company’s real culture for internal progression.

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to have at least 2 years’ experience at National Account Controller level from within the drinks industry. You will need prior exposure to the On Trade at National Account level so as to be familiar with the channel and to be a commercially minded, resilient individual as you will be taking over one of their most challenging accounts. The client is looking for a proven leader of people as the company put a real focus on team drive and development.
