Innovative Bites Ltd are seeking a Commercial Manager, for a highly innovative, forward thinking, dynamic and Fast Growing American Food Import/Distribution Business, This is a permanent position in the business and offer's the right candidate a superb long-term opportunity.

The company sells' a wide range of American Imported Food products in various categories to various Supermarkets, Wholesale and Cash/Carry Sectors and your remit will be to maintain relationships with existing customers as well as developing business into new sectors.

Your role will focus on managing and developing a portfolio of National and Regional clients, together with developing new business. So the ability to deal with head office buyers and depot manager is essential.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will have total autonomy in the role, with responsibility for designated sales targets and portfolio growth, enabling you to run your business unit cost effectively ensuring development of your customer base and an increase in growth and distribution. An excellent networker you will have a keen eye for identifying and creating opportunities in existing clients.

Will full P&L responsibility, you will have the support and backup of a highly dedicated, effective and company-focused team who will support you in all area's to ensure that you have all the support and tools necessary to succeed. Responsibilities will include

• Strategic planning and implementation of Trade Marketing Plans
• The securing of Brand Distribution through grocery multiple accounts, Cash & Carry, Wholesale Channels.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with the retailers through regular communication and meetings.
• Full P & L responsibility
• Develop, agree and implement joint business plan
• Product forecasting
• Preparing fully for any meeting, circulate agendas prior to meetings and follow up notes post meetings.
• Develop and implement trade promotional programmes to drive optimal sale
• Work closely with the Brand Managers in order to develop retailer marketing activities
• Forecast all promotional activity pre agreement and fully analyse post activity
• Analyse, collect and understand week sales analysis to understand brand/SKU/promotional performance
• Implementation of weekly retail forecasts and annual reviews

Skills & Experience Requirements:

• Proven minimum 3 years sales experience in the FMCG industry. 
• Strong negotiating skills with Key Client Stakeholders decision makers.
• Developing and reviewing business plans
• Increasing sales by proactively seeking out and growing new business opportunities
• Effectively managing and growing existing accounts
• Strong analytical skills
• Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
• Confident presentation skills at all levels to both small and large groups
• Budget management
• Experience of dealing with Major Retailers would be a great advantage to this role.

Basic Salary: From £45,000 to £55,000 (Based on experience)

Position: Permanent

Benefits: Bonus + Car or Car allowance + Expenses + Benefits

This is an Office Based Role. However will require travelling nationally.
