Atomic Live are experts at getting our Clients’ products on to shelf and into the hands of consumers.  We are delighted to announce that we have secured a partnership with Tangerine Confectionery to deliver a national field sales team. 

The team will drive distribution, visibility and availability of Tangerine Confectionery’s fantastic range of products, across Wholesale and Independent retail nationwide.

As the leading UK independent manufacturer of sugar confectionery and branded popcorn, Tangerine Confectionery is in the enviable position of being the guardian of a fantastic range of fun, creative and quality brands that bring smiles to the faces of people of all ages.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

You will be working within Cash & Carry depots.  You will be responsible for ensuring availability of  Tangerine’s brands across the entire portfolio of products/SKUs.  You will be targeted to increase volume sales in depot and give any under-indexing products the focus and visibility that they need to drive sales. You will do this by building relationships and strong rapport with your contacts within your assigned depots. You will negotiate additional space, execute off promotion displays and the merchandising of products with category and sector to deliver the best sales for your depots.  You will be responsible for managing a territory of VIP customers within the independent channel, therefore van sales experience is essential.  You will be responsible for ensuring that the Field Sales Executives within your Region are supported to deliver their objectives within Independents, this will be achieved through management of the Wholesale depots and strong communication with both customers and internally.

You will be working independently so will need to be a confident proven sales professional, ideally with a background of working within the Wholesale Channel.  A drive to have exceptional standards with a flexible working approach to deliver expectations is also a must.

ABOUT YOU:

You will be experienced in Field Sales and working in the Wholesale sector. You will be organised, disciplined, target focused and love developing new business. You will have previous experience in Wholesale and understand the crucial role that depots play with regards to availability of products to independent retailer customers.  Ideally you will have experience/knowledge of the UK FMCG industry.

You will achieve results by:

  • Building strong and commercial relationships within your designated territory of wholesalers.
  • Growing & maintaining distribution across our Clients portfolio of products.  You must have excellent presentation skills, PC skills including writing PowerPoint presentations and excel reports, and be able to gather and analyse data.
  • Supporting sales with strong depot presence through proactive management of Point of Sale material and providing category advice.
  • Introducing exciting new sales & POS mechanics to maximise availability
  • Working autonomously as well as within a team, you will be target driven and responsive to deadlines. You must have excellent communication and numeracy skills. You should be highly energetic, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, resourceful and resilient, and able to demonstrate a sense of urgency, momentum and self-discipline to get things done!

This is a full time role, Monday - Friday. You will be provided with a company vehicle to use whilst at work. You will be provided with a tablet and smart phone. Full brand, sales and account management training will be provided both through induction period and on-going in the field and also at team meetings.
