As part of our vision to be the biggest and best dairy company in the UK we are looking for an individual to join our growing team. With over 97% of UK households drinking milk you will be operating in a well-established category across a wide range of retailers. As we embark on a journey to deliver sustainable category growth through branded and own label products you will be integral to supporting this development as our Marketing Manager. Reporting to the Category & Marketing Controller as a key member of our Marketing Team you will be responsible for driving forward both branded and own label focusing on delivering volume and profit targets. Your challenge will be to manage all marketing activity for existing products and deliver key innovation
Key Responsibilities:
* Translate the category vision into value added brand innovation
* Lead bespoke creative advertising project for the profit centre
o Develop creative briefs
o Lead the development and assessment of creative work
o Lead the research of creative routes and recommend plan of action
* Full accountability for delivery of volume, profit and shares for profit centre
* Lead the 3 year brand development for the profit centre
* Lead the development and analysis of sharp research recommendations
* Expertise and leadership working closely with cross functional teams including category and finance
* Lead annual, monthly and weekly review of brand and own label performance highlighting key opportunities and challenges
* Control and full accountability of the budget
* Inspire the organisation behind brand initiatives and plans
Key skills & experience:
* Degree level educated
* Able to demonstrate strong project management and communication skills
* Outstanding leadership skills
* Excellent analytical skills
* Ability to embrace and create change
* Expertise of the full marketing mix
* At least 5 years FMCG marketing experience
