Key Account Manager
- Manchester

Under Armour are looking for a Key Account Manager to develop business within target national retail accounts. This is an extremely exciting opportunity to be part of a global brand with ambitious growth plans.
Role description
We're looking for a Key Account Manager to come on board and grow existing business within our major, national, sports retail accounts. You will be required to deliver aggressive growth whilst building long term relationships with key contacts within our target accounts. The role will be split between the Manchester office and the HQ of each account.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Selling in seasonal product ranges across our apparel, footwear & accessories to buyers in order to achieve account and overall business objectives
  • Building and executing longer term strategic account plans and pro-actively identifying new and additional business opportunities in order to maximise sales
  • Build and maintain a high level of customer relationships at all levels and across functions within each account
  • Working with other Under Armour functions – locally and internationally - to ensure that customer and strategic business requirements are understood and implemented in line with UA and the account expectations
  • Accurate sales planning and forecasting
  • Contributing to the overall development of the Under Armour business and Key Account Team in the UK and Ireland

Who we're looking for

A Key Account Manager who can make a difference. Those with exposure to developing higher level relationships with national retailers, either within the sports industry, or similar businesses in other consumer goods sectors, would be at an advantage. Reporting to our Head of Key Accounts, and based in the Manchester office, you should be prepared for regular travel around the North of England. Candidates who can demonstrate a strong track record of achievement and progression will be at an advantage. You should be a self-starter who can demonstrate the drive and ambition that fits our culture. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to work cross-functionally with other areas of the business.
