An amazing opportunity has arisen within a rapidly expanding wine business. Currently growing as a company by more than 30% year on year they are now looking to recruit a new member to be an integral part of their ever developing team. They own their own winery and place a real focus on the innovation of new products, be that branded English made wines or private label solutions offered to their customers. With a wide customer base that ranges from Top Four Multiples down to smaller independent outlets and having won numerous medals and awards for their inventive wine products they are now gaining international recognition.

As National Account Manager you will take over an already existing portfolio of accounts including Sainsbury’s and Waitrose as well as some of the Convenience and On Trade accounts. You will have full P&L over these accounts and will manage the head office contact whilst also being responsible for prospecting new business and the strategic planning of your business unit. There will be roughly a fifty-fifty split between sourcing new business, with the primary focus on the private label side of the business, and management of the existing customer base.

In order to be considered for this opportunity you will need a strong background from within the wine industry. You will have experience dealing with the top four multiples, preferably from a private label standpoint, at either National Account Manager or National Account Executive level. You will also ideally have worked in the On Trade and Convenience channels and will need to have relevant WSET qualifications. You will need to be an incredibly driven and sales minded individual comfortable working autonomously but also closely with the Directors as an integral part of the management team.
