Senior Brand Manager - Contract

As a result of an internal move a new opportunity has arisen to join the team of a global drinks business as a Senior Brand Manager initially on a six month contract.

The business operates a portfolio of a premium drinks brands and has grown in the UK through acquisition and through developing their existing brands.

The main purpose of the role is to develop and deliver local implementation of the global marketing strategy for the brand that leads to brand equity, consumer commitment and brand profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver agreed Brand targets through sound financial planning, people resource management and alignment of systems and processes.
• To assist with execution of Brand Strategy, marketing plans and activities and provide updates on competitive position of brands to key internal stakeholders
• With support of the Head of Marketing, develop, implement, monitor and evaluate high quality Brand marketing plans and activities in order to achieve Brand targets and build Brand equity.
• Work closely with Category & Marketing Managers to ensure implementation of activity meets overall brand plans & brand guidelines
• Meet with and regularly communicate Brand progress against plans to the wider business.
• Maintain excellent relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in order to optimise delivery of activities and facilitate timely, relevant communication.
• Be continuously alert to changes, issues and opportunities in the market, evaluate & recommend solutions and implement agreed changes to plans in order to optimise return
• Develop strong relationships with global brand teams and customer marketing teams.

To be successful in this role, you will display:

• Proven experience of creating brand strategy, full market mix development and activation for a premium brand.
• Brand Marketing experience from an FMCG or luxury goods business.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Drinks industry experience is preferable but not essential
• Experience of project management
