Job Details
Our client is a leading international retailer boasting an unrivalled portfolio of brands within its clearly defined categories. Due to continued growth and expansion they now seek an experienced footwear buyer who has global exposure and ideally excellent product development knowledge.
The role will be responsible for a clearly defined product area within one of their flagship shoe retail brands. You will be responsible for developing strategic buying plans and ensuring efficient operations through vendor identification and selection in alignment with strategic and financial objectives. Key responsibilities include Buying & Range building, Vendor Management, Order Management, Product Design & Quality and people management.
To be considered for this position it is essential you have previous footwear buying experience ideally within a large global retailer. You will have extensive knowledge of key suppliers and ideally have a background in product development.
