This exciting opportunity has presented itself for a professional, results driven self-starter, who will maintain, enhance and grow our foodservice customer base and drive the company product portfolio.
Role responsibilities
- Managing and developing a portfolio of sales accounts focusing on the foodservice sector.
- Identifying and developing new sales and business opportunities, highlighting potential growth areas.
- Developing new concepts in conjunction with the technical team.
- Analysing market trends and opportunities in the oils & fats Industry.
- Driving sales volumes of products at target margins.
- Processing, managing and maintaining contract data and information flow.
- Attending and contributing to team meetings to stimulate progressive activity.
- Liaising with inter-departmental colleagues to meet company objectives.
- Working closely with a dedicated Customer Services Co-ordinator.
- To play a key part of the Business Management team representing the company externally.
Role requirements and qualifications:
- A relevant degree in business/marketing or food science.
- Commercially astute with a minimum of 4 years’ proven success in B2B sales within the food processing industry and a minimum of 2 years’ proven success In B2B sales within the foodservice sector.
- Exposure to product development, marketing and brand management.
- Proven success in account management.
- The mobility to travel to customers/suppliers on a national basis.
- Outstanding communication, organisation and planning skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
