Following continued success with our branded product ranges we are looking for hungry, motivated and dynamic sales people to join our very successful team to continue growth in the UK retail market.

Primary focus will be on retailers at Key Accounts but there are opportunities to service National Accounts and progress career to National Account Manager level. The role is primarily on the road so we welcome candidates from across the UK. There are 3 opportunities available within the following brands:

* Beldray  - Laundry, Steam and Cleaning products

* Intempo - Audio and Electronics

* Dreamtime & Homedics - Memory Foam, Slippers, Pet beds and textiles

* Health & Beauty - New cosmetics ranges, tissues and wipes

UPGS services retailers across all channels due to increased stock available across our core branded products and winning lines across all 12 divisions. Our team have fantastic sales tools available including a 15,000 sqft showroom, marketing materials and real time sales presenting software on company IPads and IPhones.

The position will have fantastic opportunities to progress to National Account level quickly depending upon performance. Our roles are very sales and target driven so candidates need to be motivated to develop business and drive sales from the front. 

 Job duties include:

  • Business development and maximising any new business opportunities
  • Developing and managing designated retail accounts through developing and maintaining long standing business relationships
  • Promoting/ presenting our brands and product portfolio's, developing awareness to achieve targeted sales
  • Negotiating terms of customer orders and closing sales
  • Attend trade exhibitions and customer meetings when necessary

The Candidate

  • We are looking for sales/account management professionals with a minimum of 2 years experience of proven sales results  within the retail sector
  • Experience of selling retail products (ideally of products stated above) to accounts is essential
  • Strong business developer with skill to open new opportunities and follow through
  • Able to demonstrate existing strong business relationships with retail accounts customers and the ability to develop others
  • Need to be target driven, determined, self motivated and capable of managing retail accounts.
  • Well organised, good IT skills and the ability to work self sufficiently is a must
