Summary: Leading FMCG business looking to recruit a Purchasing Category Lead for Co-Manufacturing/Co-Packing category.
Job Description:
We are looking for a high calibre Purchasing Category Manager to manage the Co-Manufacturing procurement process. The role will look after a spend of £25m and a small team and will be a highly strategic position.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing the sourcing strategy, leading a team and building extremely strong relationships with stakeholders.
Although it’s not essential to have the category experience you will need experience of an operations/factory related category like FM, Capex, MRO etc. What’s most important in this role is being able to lead and develop a team and act as the strategic lead for the category.
To be considered, we’re looking for high calibre purchasing category managers who have experience of the co-manufacturing category, or related categories and are highly personable, strategic and dynamic.
It’s essential that you have man-management experience to be considered for this position.
