Senior Manager, Field Sales Home - South West

What you become a part of

The purpose of this position is to lead and motivate the home team for the specific territory in order to meet and exceed the GB Home channel’s Level Of Service and Individual Performance Objectives, budgeted volume and profit targets. This is to be achieved by managing the sales resource sustainably by ensuring the best standards of people management & performance, including optimising the utilisation of the tools and reporting available.

What to expect

You will be responsible for:
Establishing and communicating clear direction and performance objectives for self, direct reports and department;
Creating a positive and inspiring working environment for the team;
People coaching and management to develop the team’s skills and knowledge;
Ensuring teams develop and deliver against the appropriate coverage plan;
Driving the team to set and deliver smart objectives for each territory and store whilst motivating them to identify and secure additional profitable new business and retain and develop existing business;
The management of Profit and OPEX and marketing budgets within guidelines;
Supporting the development of the Home field sales plan in conjunction with the channel and in particular leading one specific Strategic Pillars;
Leading the team to deliver the agreed home channel LOS, IPOs and profit and volume targets by successful execution of the agreed channel plan;
Completing and raising the standards of Performance Appraisals, Performance Development Plans and Talent Management Reviews

What we expect of you

Reporting straight into the Director of Field Sales Home, this high profile role will offer the chosen candidate real people management exposure. The successful candidate will be an individual who embraces change and will be expected to deliver the look of success within the home channel and will also play an integral part in what success looks like.

Commercial, tough, dynamic, capable and someone who is able to push back and challenge with a view to making things better are exactly what will be expected of you.

Skills/Experience/Requirements

We are looking for a high performer from ANY function of the business who would benefit from some commercial and people managment experience, leading a 80 person organisation with third line management responsibility. An individual with aptitude, fresh thinking and the ability to influence. 

Cross functional experience is welcomed and reflected in the current landscape of the team. Appropriate development and coaching will be offered to anyone who has real future potential.

Please note that this role is open to both Full-Time and Flexible Working (4 days per week) pattern applications.
