Area Sales Manager – DIY Products

South East / London

£30,000 to £40,000 DOE, plus bonus and benefits

A leading manufacture of home improvement and related products. The company has a strong standing within retail, trade and construction channels,  and has seen significant investment over the last two years. Due to a number of changes including internal promotions my client is now looking to appoint a talented Area Sales Manager for the South East region, specifically London and inside the M25.

You will be responsible for an existing account base as well as looking for new business opportunities across merchants, showrooms and independent retail businesses. Ideally you will have experience of selling into these channels and a related product sector such as DIY products, power tools, bathroom products etc. The region accounts for a large proportion of the independent business however there remains significant scope for winning new accounts. You should be someone who is equally adept at retaining and growing business as well as being a natural new business hunter.
