Grocery Account Director
Job Description
- Immediate account lead on our biggest UK customer, with initial focuses on retention, growth and outstanding customer service.
- Working closely with the Commercial Director you will implement our market expansion plan with on-going adjustments made to the strategy, as required.
- As the Grocery Account Director you will lead on all customer business planning, pitching, negotiation and agreeing trade terms.
- Regular ROI analysis on promotional activities & budgets.
- Managing the promotional budgets, you will be able to detect any deviations in the assigned customers / channels.
- Ensuring excellent execution of key marketing activities within the customer base.
It is also essential that you are able to report on Customer progress (against set key measures) in an accurate and timely manner.
Always working with the customer, you will ensure our strategies are aligned to maximise results.
In a busy, multifaceted role, it is equally important that you are able to manage expectations internally and externally, with regards prioritising demands.
The Successful Applicant
- Current experience in a similar Grocery Account Director position
- Impressive track record of success within the UK Grocery market
- Commercial acumen - demonstrate ability to use data to create commercial arguments and more creative solutions if needed
- Effective networker and strong inter-personal skills
- Confident and skilled presenter, influencer and negotiator
- Numerical reasoning and analytical skills
