Location: Corby, Northamptonshire


The Role:

Commercial Manager required for a market leading housewares company. This excellent opportunity will involve overall management of the European pricing programme and working closely with the sales department on tender management.


Responsibilities

Project manage tenders, working with various departments to deliver all requirements on time.
Create and run an annual tender calendar to drives sales.
Manage the entire European pricing programme.
Undertake account profitability reviews, working with Product Manager to improve profit.
Pricing analysis.
Monitoring market trends.
Work closely with sales and product development to improve cost prices.


Our Client:

Our client is a well established supplier of housewares to major retailers and wholesalers throughout Europe. They are currently experiencing strong growth and now require an experienced Commercial Manager to join their Operations team in Corby.


Essential Requirements:

• Recent experience within pricing, procurement or product management role.
• Experienced in managing tender process.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Positive and enthusiastic character.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Strong working knowledge of excel.
• Good knowledge of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
• Commutable to Corby.

Package:

Basic Salary: £30,000-£35,000
Benefits: Bonus
