SENIOR NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER – FOODSERVICE

As one of the Europe’s leading manufacturers of meat products, my client offers a wide range of meat product across a number of product categories. They have a glowing reputation in the industry and enjoy extensive national distribution across the Retail, Foodservice, Wholesale and B2B channels. The business has recently enjoyed some great successes and as a result they have recently invested heavily into their UK operations. Following on from a recent business acquisition my client is looking to appoint an addition Senior National Account Manager to develop business within End User customers.

As National Account Manager you will have full responsibility for the day to day relationships with a designated customer portfolio the turnover currently stands at £8m. You will also be challenged with developing new customers across the Pub, Restaurants and Contract Catering channels. You will be working closely with the NPD team to develop new products to increase both revenue and profitability.

To be considered you will be an ambitious individual with strong negotiation and face to face skills and have the ability to work well in a team environment. In addition you will need to have a history of managing Foodservice customers, ideally within this channel. Experience within the meat industry would be preferred however this is not essential. You must also have the ability to interpret data and negotiate contracts with key customers. The successful candidate will need to display commitment and the will to progress in a rapidly expanding business focused on developing and winning new business.
