Our client is a major player in the fresh food industry with an outstanding reputation for their product and their service. They are currently looking to bring in an experienced and effective Commercial Controller to work on one of their largest customer accounts. If you have experience of managing a Top 4 retail account, a background in a fresh/chilled food category and are looking to join a large but inclusive business, then this could be the role for you./

The Role:-
  • Working closely with the Senior Management team and helping to develop the strategic direction for the account
  • Managing an experienced team of Commercial Managers and Account Executive, ensuring they are given the right information and guidance on which to act upon effectively
  • Working closely with the customer on a number of levels, ensuring all stakeholders are bought into the vision of the business and the category


The Candidate:-
  • Will be an experienced senior commercial candidate with key experience of a chilled/fresh food product AND a top 3 or 4 UK retailer#
  • Will be able to show a proven track record of success in a competitive environment
  • Must be an effective and engaging negotiator and be able to see the best routes to mutually beneficial solutions
  • Will have experience of managing an experienced team and know how to get the best out of them
