Pernod Ricard – Co-leader in the Wines and Spirits sector globally are looking to recruit Business Development Executives in the UK. We are looking for graduate calibre premium account managers with experience in the FMCG or Drinks Industry. Find out more about this fantastic career opportunity below.

About the Role

The UK market is a well-developed, competitive environment with a number of large competitors selling to very well developed trade segments. The On Trade consists of over 120,000 licensed premises supplied by a number of large national and many small regional wholesalers. Pernod Ricard UK manages the On Trade through 3 aligned business units – Field Sales, Managed Retail and Route to Market. Although the On Trade Channel in totality has been under pressure in recent years, the markets that Pernod Ricard operate in, Wines, Spirits and Champagnes have remained comparatively buoyant. Thus the channel is an important contributor to the profit of Pernod Ricard in the UK as well as playing a vital role in building the equity of our brands with consumers.

About You

We are looking for graduate calibre Business Development Executives who have previous account management experience, as well as exposure in a Leisure or Consumer focused company within FMCG (preferably Wines & Spirits industry – but not essential).  If you hold the WSET certificate, that would be beneficial as well as previous industry experience either in sales or On Trade bar background.
