With some of the most recognisable Brands within the Retail Space they serve, they are at the forefront of strong organic growth across several categories/product areas. As part of their Growth Plans they are seeking to appoint a "Demand Planner" within the Customer/Commercial Team.

The Role

Demand Planner

  • To deliver demand planning & fulfilment process in line with Business key metrics and Retail Sales fiscal commitments. 
  • Identify and implement change driving Demand best practises and processes. 
  • To provide internal systems, processes, reports to support and improve Sales Capability.
  • The role will be responsible as the champion for a group of customers driving improvements in efficiency of workings, service and supply.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Provide accurate consolidated Retail forecast
  • Monitor and Track customer & product performance make recommendations and implement changes to the forward plan. 
  • Complete monthly reporting, insight and reviews with Sales & cross functional working with Supply to ensure robustness of plan reflection, execution and delivery
  • Support the delivery of the Retail Sales fiscal commitments
  • Ensure business critical systems and processes are adhered to.  Drive adherence to Monthly Customer Planning cycle ensure all system and reporting feeds are met accurately and on time
  • Accuracy of supplied forecast to mitigate risk and maximise sales. 

Key Customers

Internal:  Senior Team, Nationa Account Mangers, Supply Chain, Marketing, Category Marketing, Finance, Innovations, Packaging Development, QA

External: Retailer Supply Teams, Other Leading FMCGs Suppliers, Design Agencies etc

            

Candidate Requirements 

The Ideal candiate will have 2 years+ experience in a similar role, importantly the client is open to both Supply or Retail Side candidates. Above all Candidate must have high levels of Project & Analytical skills; as the Business is strongly “numbers/data” focused it's processes and internal communications. Of course being a Leading FMCG Player, will mean successful candidates will have access to a strong and structured career path.
