Job Details

Our client is a globally successful fresh foods business. A very well established business, one of the leaders in their product category with a terrific reputation in the industry. The business supplies the UK’s major retailers with quality food products.

The business is constantly growing and expanding and it’s a terrific environment for an Account Executive to learn and develop quickly.

The Role

National Account Executive – Top 4 Retail.

·       Supporting the Commercial/ Account manager to ensure the day-to-day management of the designated account including:

-                   Pricing,

-                   Service levels

-                   Grower returns/ profitability

-                   Customer KPI monitoring and delivery

-                   Identifying growth opportunities

-                   Daily administration e.g. new line forms, promo forms etc.

-              To deliver budgeted Sales (Value & Volume) and Margin for G’s Fresh and grower targeted returns

-                   Attendance at the weekly availability meeting

·       You may also be responsible for a an area or product group, where you will be the primary contact with customer, but under the guidance of the Commercial/ Account Manager

·       Complete price negotiations within agreed parameters and in line with budgets, plans and margin targets

·       Key point of contact for customer visits.  Ensure all customer contact is documented and disseminated

·       Creation of short, medium and long-term sales and marketing plans for customer key accounts and produce 3 year sales plans as required.

·       New product development, identify opportunities in conjunction with the Commercial/ Account Manager

The Candidate

  • Commercial experience within food, ideally fresh foods.
  • Exposure to national accounts.
  • Desire to succeed in commercial/account management.
