Our client has already put together an enviable portfolio of recognised Watch brands. These presently comprise of U-BOAT – Welder – Chronoswiss – Perrelet - REC Watches are also to join their already established brand principals. All niche brands deserve careful placement within differing retail settings and moving forward in 2015 they wish to appoint two talented careerists able to grow market share across all marques.
Experience wise –it is felt that they could entertain candidate positivity from varying previous commercial disciplines. You could be a proven sales performer from within a Retail Jewellers bursting to get out onto the road. You could be already well sales networked within the watch industry and looking for your next industry posting. Or finally you could be a proven structured FMCG sales professional keen to move into a product channel more reflective of your own wear passion.
The representation difference will be the huge variance in Retail Recommended Price between the brands that you will initially be entrusted to sell – this will call for sensitivity vis-à-vis brand placement as well as openness as to opportunities above and beyond the obvious. The key job role criteria will be a determination to beat the street – and your inquisitive enquiring disposition able to awaken appropriate interest and stockist commitment in every key regional shopping destination that you will cover.
Individually you would need to be well organised – capable of cost effectively managing to begin with a large geographic sales region and it is recognised that initially every effort must be focused towards new account acquisition.
The future outlook is extremely appetising – the role will call upon you to ever more account manage these earlier retail – supplier client partnership gains – so it would be taken as read that you must possess empathy with the challenges faced counter side and be ever on hand to offer best merchandising advice –be up for inspiring store staff as to each brands USP/product detail ensuring supreme brand experience of each brand principal you proudly represent.
As with any field based role you should be ever conscious of utilising your time wisely and efficiently to the betterment of all – and be ever prepared to participate in trade show/additional brand marketing events whenever opportunity beckons.
It is expected that a real strength within your new sales pioneering armoury would be supreme communicational confidence – you excel at presenting yourself: you get brands and market categories and you can alter your pitch to be harmonious at whatever retail level your products demand that you should visit.
