TERRITORY SALES MANAGER, NORTH WEST

North West England - Covering Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Clwyd and Gwynedd

Marshfield Farm Ice Cream is a family-run business which has grown steadily for the last 25 years. The next stage of this growth is to appoint a Territory Sales Manager for the North West of England to bring their wonderful premium ice-cream to a whole new group of lucky consumers! The brand and the business is growing fast so there is ample scope for your career to grow with them.

It's a large territory, covering Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Clwyd and Gwynedd, plus you will be helping other members of the sales team in other areas of the country from time to time so there's potentially a lot of travel and the occasional overnight stay.

The lucky candidate will have good sales experience in the catering and foodservice sectors and strong capability and experience in new business development. 

Successful experience in managing wholesalers and developing business with them will also be desirable.

You will have strong interpersonal skills and will be a results-orientated, self-motivated individual with a high level of energy and strong work ethic and be comfortable working autonomously on a new territory which is relatively remote from our head office.

Finally, you will need basic ‘handyman’ skills in order to help set up new customers: fixing point-of-sale materials on site, siting freezer cabinets, etc.
