Category Buyer - General Services
We are working with a global FMCG business who are looking to recruit a talented Indirect Procurement specialist into their Procurement team in Amersfoort.
As Category Buyer you will report to the Senior Procurement Category Manager for Indirects and be responsible for translating the procurement category strategy into a procurement plan and budget for your portfolio, acquiring approval and then executing your own procurement plan.
You will deliver a sustainable supply of ICT goods and services for the business and build excellent relations with business stakeholders. You'll also be required to determine a negotiation strategy and negotiate with suppliers concerning the price, quality and conditions.
This role is a great opportunity to join a leading FMCG business, with plenty of development! To be considered, we're looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
- Degree educated
- 5-10 years experience within a multinational organisation
- Experience in managing ICT outsourcing/offshoring programs
- Strategic Procurement experience - ideally within ICT category
- Fluent in English
