The Opportunity
Are you currently a National Account Manager seeking a role where you will be given the autonomy to manage the P&L for a top 4 grocer. A role where you can bring new ideas for innovation to the table and see the products come to life? Nigel Wright are currently seeking a Senior National Account Manager for a large, well-established food manufacturer and brand owner, whom supply some of the best loved branded confectionary to the UK and international markets.
You will be responsible for liaising with the retailers key stokeholds to understand both consumer trends and retailer requirements to help grow both the retailers and company profits.
In this role the focus will be managing Morrisons or CoOP for a large multi-million pound P&L. You will be responsible for helping with innovation and growth as well as ensuring the long term supply is continued. You will work very closely internally with the UK Sales Director and other members of the senior management team to achieve your goals.
The company is currently heavily investing in NPD and has a proactive view on taking these innovations to the retailers to stay ahead of changing consumer trends.
You will also liaise internally with the marketing, project and manufacturing teams to ensure successful delivery of the innovation. This will be acting as the project lead with an experienced project team beneath you.
This role will suit an individual whom will thrive in bringing new ideas for innovation, whom likes to take ownership of the project and seeing the idea come to life.
Person
You will be an experienced National Accounts Manager with a minimum of 3- years’ experience in the role. This can be for one of the large multiples or from the convenience channel.
You will ideally have a FMCG background
You will be able to demonstrate strong commercial skills.
You will be a self-starter as you can expect to be given autonomy to manage your own diary.
What is on Offer?
Guide Salary of £45,000-£60,000 plus car, 20% bonus, laptop, mobile, generous pension.
