Group Marketing Manager

Our client is a well-run, ambitious and progressive food and drink operation with sites situated throughout the North of England. The business has a strong value set and customer proposition and has a strong focus upon delivering excellent customer service for which they are recognised. As part of a long term strengthening programme they are looking to appoint a first class Group Marketing Manager who will devise and lead the strategic marketing plan and its delivery for all the group across all communication channels and implement the plan working closely with the operations and commercial teams. 

The role

• You will help support, manage and further develop existing relationships and grow loyalty to the brands bringing strategic and commercial input into the management and planning of business.
• You will devise comprehensive marketing strategies across multiple consumer concepts.
• Develop robust and reliable marketing processes and capabilities.
• Oversee all marketing partnerships and functions.
• Manage the product offering (food & Drink) including pricing and menu strategy and development.
• Accountable for building the marketing team and developing the current team of 2.
• Contribute to the leadership and continuous improvement of the company as a senior member of the management team.

The person

• A strong self-starter with a good understanding of developing and deploying marketing strategies and a comprehensive knowledge of the marketing mix.
• Technically strong with a classic background of managing highly visible and successful consumer brands.
• Someone with a good knowledge of channels including Retail, Food Service, and Pub & Restaurant would be an advantage together with experience of leading teams focused upon catering led, brand trading strategies. 
• Highly determined, high energy, prepared to roll ones sleeves up and get stuck in.
• A minimum of 4-5 years of BSC FMCG marketing in a multi-channel environment.
