The job:

Chief Commercial Office (CCO) Sales Governance is a core function that ensures CCO is aligned across all channels for all key initiatives due to impact frontline. This function will facilitate leading senior stakeholders within CCO to have a clear capacity planned, rolling roadmap that delivers on both the channels and wider business ambitions.

This role sits in the Channel Marketing & Communication department which is accountable for Sales governance & execution planning, channel marketing campaigns, channel communication across Retail, Campaigns & Indirect channels

You'll manage the CCO roadmap to ensure the optimum amount of change is delivered into channels brilliantly by balancing quality and quantity, co-ordinating impact assessments and working with channels and demand areas (Marketing, Non-Consumer, Customer Services).

What you'll do:

  • Manage the CCO roadmap and associated planning processes to ensure channels are in the best position to brilliantly execute change
  • Represent CCO at governance and planning forums
  • Co-ordinate impact assessments, status updates, gating and launch readiness reviews for all channels within agreed SLAs
  • Ensure channels are engaged in the shaping of propositions and where appropriate review of business cases and post-implementation reviews
  • Facilitate issue resolution and prioritisation calls; bringing together the right people and ensuring the right information is available to support decision making
  • Preparation of inputs to Director forums with recommendations
  • Management of change control
  • Support business owners of CCO demand through the formal governance and planning processes
  • Facilitation of CCO project mobilisation; resourcing, funding, project set up and support through milestone gates


You'll definitely:

 

  • Be highly numerate & literate with good excel and PowerPoint skills, considerable commercial acumen, ability to learn quickly & produce very high levels of accuracy when working at speed and under pressure
  • Keep calm in a crisis; and work under a high degree of pressure
  • Show a high level of personal integrity
  • Have a project management qualification or have experience of working in a project management environment
