A market leader within the cosmetics industry, my client has a strong reputation within the prestige sector. The business is an icon within their field, selling premium cosmetics, skincare and fragrance across the retail sector. With 50 years of industry experience, they have evolved into a global business, with revenues in excess of £100 million. The business is consistently developing, responding to the ever changing market place in which they operate. Owing to this continued success they are now seeking an Area Manager (for in store retail counters) to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to joining the business as an Area Manager across the Midlands. This is a very diverse and exciting role that will include a broad range of responsibilities for the successful candidate. Within the position you will be responsible for the management of concessions across the area and yourself will report directly into the Sales Development Manager. This is a leadership position and the role will require you to have fitting motivational skills and the ability to lead your team and drive the business forward. It is paramount that you work within the agreed budgets set by the business and ensure targets are met by employees. As well as fulfilling your role in training and development, a key part of the role will be developing new business opportunities and working with the existing customer base.

In order to be considered for this position, the successful candidate must have a working knowledge of all competitor brands in the market place. It is essential that you have experience managing a team and the skills in leading, inspiring and developing individuals. This is a commercial role and resultantly, candidates must be business minded and commercially aware.
