Customer Marketing Manager – Abel & Cole - Wimbledon

Customer Marketing Manager, Wimbledon, London, this is a newly created role and you will need to be an experienced customer centric marketing manager to look after one of three customer groups.  Our company wide objective is to increase customer retention by making every single customer experience amazing. By developing programmes and campaigns, you’ll enable the business to build long term relationships with these customers, delivering relevant and thoughtful communications and promotions to give the customer most value at any given time. You’ll understand who our customers are and how to look after their needs, wants and interests. You’ll be analytical, strategic, technically savvy and innovative, and driven to maximise customer lifetime value, by increasing retention, order rate and AOV, using customer information to drive decisions. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head of Insight to improve understanding of your customer segment and use this to assess and explore new opportunities.
  • Plan and maintain communications, programmes and promotions to suit customer needs and support business goals.  Measured by effect on retention, AOV and order rate.
  • Find ways to improve and develop customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Work with digital and print marketing teams to develop appropriate communications materials, delivering a consistent brand and customer experience, integrated between online and offline. Includes email (service and marketing), SMS, social media, weekly e-newsletter, weekly paper newsletter, materials packed in boxes, outbound calling teams.
  • Represent your customer segment across the business, championing their needs (service, price, product development).
  • Work with other departments on projects likely to impact customer retention and spend.
  • Continually work to improve the customer lifetime value of your segment.
  • Monitor the success and results of all initiatives and deliver high quality analysis on these regularly.
  • Ensure that all projects are in line with Abel & Cole’s overall objectives and brand guidelines.

Customer Marketing Manager Experience and Skills

Through your existing knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts you will come with a proven track record of creating, implementing and evaluating successful customer retention marketing strategies within B2C retail and be used to using insight to inform customer strategies.  You will be able to communicate to a wide range of audiences and possess strong analytical skills, coupled with strong organisational and time management skills.
