Our client is a leading manufacturer of some of the best-loved brands in the country.  Not only do they lead they way in food terms though, they’re the industry trendsetter when it comes to green energy initiatives, investments in the community and providing entry level FMCG opportunities for young people.

For several years the business has produced some of the food industry’s finest innovation to deliver retailer brand offerings tailored to their individual consumer needs.  Add to this the fact their brands continue to hold prime position in their respective categories ensuring strong category influence across the leading grocery retailers - the business has never been in such good shape before.

As a result of recent succession planning for 2015, the company is looking to identify three credible Account Managers from FMCG backgrounds to join their grocery retail division.

As Senior Commercial Managers for your respective retail accounts, you will play a vital role in helping the business to further build upon its successes over recent years. 

As the thought leader of your respective retailer account/s, you will be responsible for driving all branded and retailer brand initiatives to achieve sales growth in line with your annual business plans.  You will work in true partnership with your account/s to deliver mutually beneficial initiatives through the project management of product innovation, category and brand marketing teams.

You will act as the representative face for the business with a varying range of customer contacts including at senior levels, and will act in an autonomous way to take total accountability for the performance of your customer account/s.

In order to succeed in the positions identified, it is preferable that candidates demonstrate a successful record of driving profitable sales growth across grocery retail customer accounts.  This said, the business is also open to hungry Account Managers currently operating within convenience and/or discount channels, ready to take their first step in to retail customer arenas.

The business has significant strategic plans for 2015 and beyond, and is looking to secure Account Managers motivated by the thought of playing an integral role in their plans and being part of and rewarding journey.

Candidates from both branded and retailer brand manufacturing environments for food, beverage and non-food category arenas will be considered, with the underlying identification process being driven by commercial awareness, personal credibility and capability to progress in to larger roles in the future.
