Our client is recognised as a key player with the premium food category due to their quality ingredients, forward-thinking innovation and beautiful packaging.

They are about to embark on an exciting new phase of development and have created a Head of Sales position to help expand their business presence in the UK and EMEA. Reporting into the General Manager you will be targeted on developing a multi-channel short term and long strategies in order to hit aggressive targets set by the business.

The successful candidate will be degree educated with strong retail and premium brand experience, currently in a Head of Sales or Account Director position with a focus on driving sales across a number of channels. The successful candidate will have extensive experience of working with John Lewis, Harrods, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and can demonstrate a proven track record in growing the relationship and profit with some or all of these customers. There is also a strong focus on developing their European markets so you must have had exposure working with European Department stores. You will be career ambitious and be able to demonstrate not only superb customer management but show leadership capabilities also as this role will be leading a team of 6. Strong organisational and planning skills, with an excellent balance of strategic and operational thinking are key attributes to be successful in this position. You will also be highly commercial and creative and will have exceptional negotiation and influencing skills.

A strategic thinker, you should possess the confidence to effectively deliver an innovative sales strategy across the region. You will have an abundance of drive, determination and a proven track record of branded sales success to UK and European markets .
