Our client is a highly successful food business. A global business with a terrific reputation in the industry. The business supplies the UK's leading supermarkets with quality food products. 

The business is experiencing a strong period of growth and they are looking to add some new talent to their commercial team. 

The Role

Junior Account Manager

An exciting opportunity for a ambitious commercial candidate to progress their career. Working closey with the UK's major retailers.

The role reports into and will work very closely alongside the Senior Commercial Manager. The role is cross functional across sales, technical, npd and supply chain.

Key Objectives

·      To manage the commercial relationship with the specified customers

·      Proactively contacting customers to maintain a high level of service, whilst identifying and exploiting opportunities for profitable growth

• Working with the procurement teams to help maintain the revenue and gross margin in line with annual targets, raising any concerns with your manager
• Working with the Procurement and Operations teams to ensure that the service requirements are understood and implemented in line with customer expectations

The Candidate

• 1-2 years in a commercial role within food manufacturing.
• Ideally degree educated.
• Excellent communication, IT and time management skills.
