Desk Based Corporate Account Manager - Public Sector
Location: Birmingham

The job:

Right now, we're stepping things up a gear - rolling out double speed 4G and a new wave of services that will take the EE experience from superfast to turbo charged. Speed isn't everything though. Relationships are. But that's something you'll discover for yourself as you deal with the wants and needs of our Corporate customers over the phone.

An office based account manager handling an impressive Corporate client base, you'll take a proactive approach to customer satisfaction. Making calls and sending emails, you'll stay in regular contact with your business clients - building strong relationships to maintain & grow revenue, increase customer loyalty and ensure everyone is entirely happy with the service they receive. But more than that, you'll be expected to identify individual customer needs and offer the perfect product or service to match - driving sales while providing the first class service they expect.

What you'll do:

  • Retain, develop and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts in an aggressive market. And do it with our bottom line in mind
  • Reach business targets in terms of revenue, profit ,volume, churn, customer satisfaction and customer contact
  • Develop strong telephone and email based relationships with customers, showing your knowledge of their business and decision making processes
  • Spot risks and make sure effective save plans are in place
  • Act as an ambassador for Everything Everywhere both in the external market and with internal stakeholders.
  • Translate account plans into real life steps for you and your virtual team - steps that will achieve re-sign and growth and help to put your win ratio above team average


Take responsibility for your own personal development and agree development plans with your line manager, to ensure you are fully conversant with the whole portfolio and can sell a value proposition

You'll definitely:

 

  • Need account management experience behind you, ideally earned in the telecoms industry
  • Have a warm telephone manner and the communication skills to get along with all kinds of clients and build an effective network of contacts
  • Have first-rate sales skills with the initiative to match
  • Know how to create winning account plans and translate them into tangible sales activities
  • Be PC literate in email, Word, PowerPoint and CRM systems
  • Bring flair for building strong relationships, influencing and negotiating right across the business.
