Job Details



Reporting in to the grocery Category Controller, you will work closely with commercial, NPD and brand marketing and recommend category solutions directly to the grocery customer. You will be responsible for reporting, market data analysis, and implementation of range and merchandising. The objective is to execute category strategy plans and identify growth opportunities for the business and customer. You must have the ability to present recommendations with clarity and cohesion and must be self-sufficient, strategic and collaborative.



The successful candidate will have the following criteria:-

  • Category Management experience within the FMCG manufacturing industry
  • Experience of Branded FMCG products is essential
  • Working knowledge of market data such as Dunnhumby, Kantar, Nielsen or IRI
  • Proven record in recommendation delivery and good influencing skills
  • Experience of working with UK Grocery retailers at Head Office level
  • Must be comfortable with working from home with 1-2 days p/w in Head Office
  • Must be degree educated
