The Role: Based in the Midlands, the successful Wholesale Food Manager will be responsible for dealing with wholesales food companies and caterers, offering their vegetable range. You will be dealing with senior buyers and company owners, predominantly working with existing customers although some business development activities are also required of you. With this area poised for good growth, the new wholesale food manager will be offering value-added products and strong NPD opportunities. Career prospects here are very good indeed.

The Company: With over forty years of expertise in their sector, our client is a globally operating food production company with over 40 locations worldwide. They are now looking to recruit a new Wholesale Food Manager to join their 1500-strong staff, to enjoy being part of a £600 million organisation.

For this Wholesale Food Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

· Strong field sales skills

· You will have a good knowledge of the food wholesale and foodservice industry

· A stable work history and great number-crunching skills are vital

· You will be likeable and highly organised
